COMMUNITY Assessed Growth

Growing Vibrant Communities is a continuing community enhancement self-assessment program that encourages volunteer community leadership in coordination with municipal efforts in an ongoing commitment to community vitality, beauty, environmental stewardship, and the celebration of heritage.

HOW IT WORKS:

YOU COMMIT to participating either in your own yard or with a neigbor or village business. Through volunteer leadership and community engagement, we #GrowGrandRidge together.

YOU EVALUATE enhancement goals across seven levels of self-assessment: community vitality, flowers, landscaped areas, urban forestry, environmental efforts, celebrating heritage, and overall impression.

WE GROW!

COMMUNITY MARKETS

Once a month, participants gather to assess goals, plan projects and share lessons learned as our group meets with our very own dedicated mentor from America in Bloom.

Regular crop swaps, volunteer opportunities and community workshops are just some of the benefits of signing a pledge to participate in our Village wide effort to Grow a Vibrant Community!

Are you interested in mentoring beginning gardeners? Seasoned green thumbs, please advise! Bring your project ideas and past season garden and landscape photos to our season opener meeting APRIL 11th at NOON
