A key component to any community project is leaving a lasting legacy. Like many rural communities across America, Grand Ridge is a village with modestly higher standard income than the US average ($28,555 annual). Many residents are young adults and couples relocating to raise their children. Another demographic is our 'old timers' who can tell tales of 5 generations and walk you to a stump in the ground that once was the marker of their childhood homestead. 

 

Sow It Forward provides access for residents to learn gardening, attend horticulture therapy sessions for managing life challenges and underwrites services for community exhibitions (event permits, pesticide applicator, food handling, etc.)
